Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at University of Cambridge, UK, plans to hold an academic lecture, on (January 22, 2021) at 1:00 pm London time (3 pm Palestine time), via the “Webinar” application, where the lecture will be delivered by Professor of International Law at New York University Robert Howse, and the lecture will deal with “the territory and the statehood in international law: the controversy over the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in Palestine,” this issue raises some interesting doctrinal and theoretical issues in international law, such as how Palestine can be considered a State for the Rome Statute while it did not gain full independence or external self-determination.
