The Palestinian presidency condemned the inhumane crime committed by the Israeli occupation at the dawn of the Nakba (May 15), in which an entire family from the Gaza Strip was massacred. It added that any claims of self defense by Israel are incitement to continued murder, a green light for aggression, and an encouragement of violence and extremism against the Palestinian people. The presidency reaffirmed the need for international intervention, led by the UN Security Council to provide protection for Palestinians who are exposed to brutal Israeli aggression, and to pressure the latter’s government ceasing its hostilities, to implement international legitimacy resolutions, stressing that without an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, there will be no Peace or security for anyone.
