A human rights study issued by Hemaya Center for Human Rights in the Gaza Strip dealt with “the deal of the century between the logic of force and international law.” The study shows that since Trump was elected president of the United States, his administration has taken more than eight decisions and measures that violate international law regarding the Palestinian issue, which was a prelude to the century deal. The study indicated that the term “deal” implies the existence of an agreement between the conflicting parties, but the reality of the status of the US plan that it was formulated by a team has close ties with the Israeli occupation state without the Palestinian participation in preparing the deal. Furthermore, the study showed that the century deal was formulated based on a set of principles consisted in imposing a fait accompli policy, ensuring the security of the Israeli occupation, closing the file of final status issues, establishing a Palestinian state, not like other states, and changing historical and legal facts.
