On Monday 17 Aug 2020, the Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour,  sent three identical letters to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council for this month (Indonesia), and the President of the United Nations General Assembly, regarding the countless crimes, which Israel, the occupying Power, continues to commit in occupied Palestine. Mansour indicated that Israel will continue its settlement procedures and the illegal annexation policy, in addition to continuing to oppress the Palestinian people through measures of collective punishment, dispossession, and displacement in light of its impunity.
