Researchers David Kretzmer and Yaël Ronen announced, through the Oxford University Journal, that they have published a new edition of their book entitled: “The Occupation of Justice: The Supreme Court of Israel and the Occupied Territories.” The book provides a critical analysis of how the Israeli Supreme Court has dealt with petitions relating to the actions and policies of the Israeli authorities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. It also offers an exhaustive analysis of the Court’s decisions on a variety of topics, including civilian settlements, the separation barrier, and punitive house demolitions. Besides, it examines the impact the Court’s judicial review has had on the legitimisation of Israeli policies and practices in the Occupied Territories. For further details, click here
