Researchers Afifah Ayumia, Putri Andini, and Raden Muhamad Mahardika published a new study in the Lampung Journal of International Law, Volume 4, Issue 2 of 2022 titled, “Organization of Islamic Cooperation Responses on the Israel Aggression and the United States Embassy Relocation to Jerusalem.”

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has taken notice of Israel’s aggression towards the Palestinian community, Israel’s claim of Jerusalem being their capital, and the relocation of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. The OIC works to protect the human rights of Muslims and therefore claims responsibility for monitoring the violations that take place in Palestine.

The objective of this paper is to examine the OIC’s response to Israel’s aggression and the relocation of the U.S. embassy. This study adopts a combination of a historical and analytical based approach.
