Law for Palestine is looking for three talented administrative assistants to join its Jurists for Palestine Forum team.

Law for Palestine (L4P) is a voluntary, nonprofit organization registered in the United Kingdom. It aims to build and create a network of legal professionals interested in Palestine from around the world, and to provide enriched and objective Palestinian legal content.
Jurists for Palestine Forum is the first forum for legal professionals and lawyers interested in Palestine and international law from all over the world. The main goal of the Forum is to create a network of legal professionals and lawyers interested in Palestine from all over the world, to provide training, raise awareness, and coordinate work in this area. The Forum was launched 10 months ago and takes the form of virtual monthly seminars hosting internationally renowned legal experts to discuss topics related to international law and Palestine. Currently, there are around 900 members in the forum who follow the monthly discussions, and around 25 active participants who take part in the discussions. The seminars are attended by the forum’s members exclusively.
The Administrative Assistant will perform the following tasks:
- Conduct research on the monthly topics of the Forum.
- Prepare monthly materials according to administrative instructions.
- Communicate with Forum members and guests and arrange for webinars.
- Create content of webinars’ monthly flyers and assist the social media team.
- Publish on the Forum’s special social media platforms and follow it up.
- Follow up on the advertisement campaign of the Forum.
- Provide logistic assistance before, during, and after the webinars.
- Prepare monthly summaries of the webinars.
- Prepare press releases in English and Arabic.
- Provide English-Arabic translation (and vice-versa) of any required materials for the Forum.
- Assist the Forum’s Coordinator in any other tasks upon request.
Required Experience:
The successful candidate shall have the following experience:
- Hold a master’s degree in Law (or any relevant field) and is familiar with the question of Palestine.
- Fluent in Arabic and English both written and orally.
- Have a good knowledge of research tools and methods.
- Have excellent communication skills and can work in a team.
Successful Candidates:
- Must be willing to work remotely within the Jurists for Palestine Forum’s team on a 1-year volunteer contract (with the possibility of extension);
- Will work partly for 15-20 hours per week.
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement with the Jurists for Palestine Forum.
