Al-Haq Organization issued a press release on behalf of civil society unions, human rights organizations and Palestinian advocacy groups, in order to call for the imposition of “targeted sanctions immediately to stop the annexation of Israel and apartheid”. The signatories reiterated their unified call to all states and international organizations to respect their legal obligations to cooperate in ending the illegal occupation of Israel and its annexation, through the immediate implementation of measures that include: a ban on arms trade and military-security cooperation with Israel, the suspension of trade and cooperation agreements, and the prohibition of trade with illegal Israeli settlements,  termination of corporate business with Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise, and support efforts at the United Nations to reconstitute the United Nations Special Committee against Apartheid.
