Algerian MPs have submitted a bill to criminalize normalization with Israel to the Presidency of the Parliament. The bill includes provisions prohibiting travel or any direct or indirect contact with Tel Aviv. Yousef Agisa, a representative of the Peace Society Movement, on behalf of a group of deputies, submitted the bill to the Presidency of Parliament and stated that the number of representatives who signed the bill is 50 from various political formations. The draft came in 7 articles, its second article states: “It is prohibited to communicate or establish any relations or open representation offices of any kind at any level with the Israeli entity, directly or indirectly.” It is prohibited to travel to and from the Israeli entity, and it is also prohibited to enter or receive Israeli nationality holders in Algeria or at the headquarters of its diplomatic missions.
