During his speech at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stressed that the right of the Palestinian people to establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is not negotiable, indicating that the Palestinian issue remains for Algeria and its people “a sacred issue and the most significant issues”. He said during his speech: “As for the Palestinian issue, which remains for Algeria and its people a sacred issue, but rather the most significant issues, and we express our firm support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, and their inalienable or bargaining right to establish their independent sovereign state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.” he also affirmed that this issue is the key to stability in the Middle East.
