The Coalition for Integrity and Accountability – Aman- called on the relevant authorities to expedite the referral of the case file for certificates of origin for settlement dates to the competent courts, and to refer all those involved to the competent judiciary, especially the Anti-Corruption Court, due to the seriousness of the case and its connection with evident suspicions of corruption. Aman sent a letter to the Palestinian Prime Minister, Muhammad Shtayyeh, confirming that the Palestinian companies suspected of packing dates produced in the lands seized by the occupation violate the decision of Law No. (4) of 2010 regarding the prohibition and combating settlement products, and they have done so through public officials who were provided with financial and intangibles benefits that represent suspicions of bribery according to the applicable Palestinian Anti-Corruption Law, which necessitates the prosecution of these companies and their officials, as they are partners in corruption crimes and not only as perpetrators of economic crimes.
