Amnesty International stated on its Twitter account that any process aimed at a just and lasting peace in Palestine and Israel must include the removal of illegal Israeli settlements, an end to systematic human rights violations, and compensation for victims of crimes under international law. It also added in another tweet, saying that no diplomatic agreement can change the legal duties of Israel as an occupying power under international humanitarian law and international human rights law, nor deprive the Palestinians of their rights and protections guaranteed by international law.
