Shawan Jabarin, General Director, Al-Haq, published an open letter entitled “UAE and Bahrain’s Normalisation with Israel Incentivises Continued Colonisation of Palestine.” He called on the international community to intervene to pressure the UAE and Bahrain to comply with their third State obligations towards Palestine and prevent aiding and abetting Israel in its continuing violation of peremptory norms of international law.
