During a Parliamentary session, British Minister for the Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, James Cleverly confirmed his refusal to interfere in the work of International Criminal Court (ICC) and supported its independence. The intervention by the Minister serves as a rejection of the letter sent by Boris Johnson, the British Prime Minister, refusing the investigations of ICC into the crimes committed by Israeli occupation. These crimes include, attacks against the Gaza Strip, the ongoing settlement projects and violations against people who participated in the Great March of Return protests that started along the Israel-Gaza fence in 2018.
