Center for the Defense of the Individual “HaMoked” has petitioned the Israeli High Court of Justice (HCJ) regarding the procedure that allows Israeli residents under the age of 18 to visit their parents in the Gaza Strip. The centre called for expanding the scope of the “divided families” law, that primarily allows spouses and minor children residents of Israel to visit their families in the Gaza Strip, so as to allow adults over the age of 18 to obtain six months renewable permits to visit their families in Gaza.
