The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission succeeded in attaining a decision from the Supreme Court of Israel to freeze the demolition of al-Maytah area in the Northern Valley of Jordan. Director-General of Documentation and Publishing at the Settlement & Wall Resistance Commission, Qassem Awad, said that the lawyer Tawfiq Jabareen, who is mandated by the Commission, was able to obtain a decision to freeze the demolition of the area. He explained that al-Maytah area was one of the areas threatened with forced displacement as the Israeli authorities gave a notice one month ago that it was going to demolish the entire area.
