The National Assembly of Independents and Al-Quds University, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS), held a two-day conference entitled “The National Strategy to Confront the deal of the Century and the Policies of the Occupation”, in light of Israel’s announcement of its decision to annex parts of the West Bank and impose its sovereignty over it, which resulted in the declaration of Palestine to absolve of all agreements and understandings with the Israeli and American governments, including security agreement, and the cessation of security coordination. The conference discussed the mechanisms of implementing the decisions of the Palestinian leadership and the available options to enhance resilience and contribute to the preparation of the national strategy in line with developments and challenges imposed by it. The conference discussed political and legal developments that have occurred recently in relation to the Palestinian question, including the enactment of the national law in Israel and the deal of the century and the importance of Palestinian national unity in order to confront Israel and its future plans of a racist and national nature.
