Defense for Children International in Palestine (DCIP) said that the Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets at 16-year-old Saeed Yousef Muhammad Odeh, from the village of Odala, southern Nablus. He was not participating in the confrontations that were taking place at the entrance of the village. The organization said that under international law, deliberate lethal force can only be justified in circumstances where there is a direct threat to life or serious injury. However, investigations and evidence gathered by DCIP indicate that the occupation forces have used lethal force against Palestinian children amounting to extrajudicial killing or premeditated murder.
