Law for Palestine is opening the door for internship applications to the position of Donor Relations Assistant.

Background: Law for Palestine.

Law for Palestine (L4P) is a voluntary, non-profit organization registered in the United Kingdom and Sweden. It aims to build and create a network of legal professionals interested in Palestine from around the world, and to provide enriched and objective legal content on Palestine.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing funding proposals for fund programs and donors.
2. Maintaining donor relationship management database, including updating donor records, compiling information and data entry.
3. Processing incoming gifts and ensure that gifts are accurately recorded and thanked.
4. Tracking pledges and monthly gifts to ensure on-time payment.
5. Assisting with individual donor management including acknowledgement letters, thank you cards, donor appreciation gifts, and other communications via phone and email.
6. Coordinating logistics for fundraising events, donor cultivation events, and annual fundraisers.
7. Conducting research on donor prospects and other acquisition strategies to expand donor base.
8. Managing donors’ database.

Qualifications:

Required

1. English Language proficiency
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
3. Highly organized and acute attention to detail
4. Fast learner
5. Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
6. Analytical and comfortable working with databases
7. Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
8. Solid computer literacy and skill in using the internet for research
9. Commitment to the mission of L4P

Preferred

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Donor Relations, International Relations or related fields.
2. Previous experience in the non-profit field, preferably in fundraising.
3. Proficiency in Arabic, or any of European countries languages.

Successful Candidates:

• Must be willing to work remotely on a 1-year volunteer contract (Except in the case of having fund during the contract period, then offering a salary/award will be considered);
• Will work partly for 15-20 hours per week.
• Must sign a confidentiality agreement with the L4P.
