Saeb Erekat, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, met ambassadors from Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, and Tunisia. Erekat discussed with the ambassadors the latest developments at the Arab and international levels, and the Palestinian issue, stressing that the core issue is ending the Israeli occupation and embodying the independence of the State of Palestine with its capital East Jerusalem on the 1967 borders based on international law and international legitimacy.
