40 members of the European Parliament demanded to prevent settlement products from entering the EU market, by signing a letter addressed to Valdis Dombrovskis, the Executive Vice President of the European Commission. The members called for the application of European law and World Trade Organization law to prevent settlement products from entering the European Union markets. The alternate ambassador in the Palestinian mission to the European Union, Adel Atieh, said that the letter, which was signed by 40 members of the European Parliament, represents all political blocs in the European Parliament, and the signatories also represent 14 member states of the Union.
