France called for exerting all possible efforts to avoid a new “bloody conflict” in the Middle East after a series of raids and attacks between Israelis and Palestinians in recent days. French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said in the Senate that the current violence in Gaza and Jerusalem as well as in the West Bank and several Israeli cities could lead to a significant escalation.
