Jason Greenblatt, the former legal adviser to President Trump and his adviser on Israeli affairs, has said that the lands which Israel wants to annex from the West Bank are not Palestinian lands but rather disputed lands. Greenblatt has said in an article published in the Israeli Jerusalem Post that the Palestinians should sit at the negotiating table to find a solution. Greenblatt has opened the article in reference to the piece of the Emirati Ambassador to the United States Mr.Yousef al-Otaiba, which was published in the Israeli press in both English and Hebrew, as the first piece of an official Arab figure in the Israeli press. Referring to the piece, Greenblatt has stressed on the importance of the idea of addressing the Israeli public and considered Al-Otaibi’s piece is well written and devoid of the hysteria and robot-like comments. But at the same time, he recorded his view that the annexation would take place in disputed parts, not Palestinian lands. To check the news, click here
