The Center for the Defense of the Individual “HaMoked” has appealed to the Israeli Supreme Court to reconsider procedures for children living in East Jerusalem who have been stripped of their permanent residency status – as part of Israel’s old policy, which has been described as a “quiet transfer”, which harms the rights of children and the family life of those targeted by this policy.
