Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, stated that the US, through its recent official visits, aims to implement the US-Israeli plans to reposition Israel in the region as a major country on the military, security, intelligence, and even economic levels, and to consolidate serious polarization in the region in general.

Noting that the US administration and its ally Israel are working to exploit the Arab reality to provide free benefits to Israel, by cracking and weakening the Arab and Islamic ranks, striking the credibility of the Arab League and destroying its decisions, especially the “Arab Peace Initiative” which stipulated that Israel will not be recognized and the relations with Israel will not be normalized until the withdrawal of Israel from all the occupied Arab lands since 1967.
