The Head of the Human Rights and Civil Society Service in the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ahmad Tamimi, called upon the United Nations to implement the UNESCO resolution of July 2017, which stated that “Al-Haram Al-Brahimi Al-Sharif is a Palestinian heritage site,” which would place States parties before their responsibility to end Israeli violations against Al-Haram Al-Sharif.
