Honduras stated that it will relocate its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem “before the end of the year” and Israel will also open a diplomatic office in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. President Juan Orlando Hernandez said in a tweet: I spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to strengthen our strategic alliance and agree on a date to open two embassies in Tegucigalpa and Jerusalem, respectively. He added we hope to take this historic step before the end of the year, as long as the epidemic allows us to do so.
