Human Rights Watch (HRW) issued its annual report on the state of human rights in the world during the year 2020, and this included the human rights violations committed by Israel against the Palestinians, whether in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, or inside the occupied territories. The organization’s report dealt extensively with the blockade imposed by the Israeli government on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which continues for the 13th year in a row, in addition to severe restrictions on the entry and shipment of goods. The organization said regarding the situation on the West Bank that the Israeli authorities are continuing to transport more Israeli citizens to settlements in the occupied West Bank, which is a war crime. The Israeli occupation authorities have rarely held accountable security forces who use excessive force against Palestinian civilians or settlers who attack Palestinians, HRW added.
