Al-Mezan Center, Adalah, and Gisha sent a joint letter to the Israeli authorities demanding an immediate halt to Israel’s aerial herbicide spraying in the eastern Gaza Strip. The letter said that that may potentially jeopardize the food security of the civilian population at a time when it’s most critical after the spread of Coronavirus. The letter also stated that this is not the first time and that Israel had carried out similar rounds of spraying in earlier January. In addition, the organizations stated that International law requires that Israel, as the occupying power, ensures adequate living conditions in the Gaza Strip. To check the news, click here
