Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that the United States and Israel will expand scientific cooperation agreements between them to include the West Bank and the Golan Heights. Where the geographical restrictions of three joint institutions between the two countries established by the United States and Israel will be eliminated with the aim of enhancing scientific cooperation. Since its establishment in the 1970s, scientific research and industrial development institutions between the two countries have limited cooperation within Israel’s borders before 1967, and have not granted funding to research and development projects for settlements in the West Bank. This would make the updated agreements the latest gesture of legitimacy that the Trump administration grants to Israeli settlements, which the bulk of the international community considers illegal.To check the news,click here
