Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said that he supports a two-state solution to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, stressing at the same time that achieving this is not currently possible. “It is no secret that I support a two-state solution,” he said in a speech at a meeting of the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels. “Unfortunately there is no current plan for this,” he added. He further stressed that Israel’s only willing to help in humanitarian issues, but cannot take part in building a state that would ‘threaten the security of Israel’. For further details, click here
