Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that he will expand the settlement program in the West Bank – which US president Joe Biden opposed. Bennett refuses to support US plans in reopening a consulate to the Palestinians, and has made it clear that he rules out a peace deal with the Palestinians under his auspices. He added that there will be no solution to the conflict with the Palestinians in the foreseeable future, and said that peace talks will not happen because the Palestinian leadership is divided. He added: This government will not form a Palestinian state. Regarding the construction of settlements in the West Bank and the siege imposed on Gaza, Bennett said that the siege will remain as long as Hamas continues to arm itself and launch rockets at Israel, explaining that he is ready for another war with Hamas.
