J Street appealed to the Executive Committee of the Jewish National Fund (JNF-KKL) after it voted to formally allow the organization to purchase land in the West Bank for the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements. J Street called on the JNF-USA to oppose any investment by JNF-KKL in occupied Palestinian territory and to refuse to provide any further funding to JNF-KKL if this proposal is approved.
