Jerusalem Conference, organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, concluded its tenth session, in which the conferees emphasized the centrality of Jerusalem to Arabs and Muslims and the need to protect the Palestinian narrative in the face of the Israeli narrative. In the opening speech of the conference, Palestinian PM Muhammad Shtayyeh affirmed the resilience of the Palestinian people in their land despite the Israeli violations. He added: “The Palestinian government has considered 2021 to be the year of promoting the narrative about Jerusalem and Palestine in the face of the Zionist narrative supported by research centres, Western media and others.”
At the end of the conference, the participants recommended “to establish a website for Palestine that focuses on promoting the Palestinian narrative and history, and encouraging the scientific research that proofs the Palestinian people’s right to their land and sacred cities.” For further details, click here
