Lawyers for the Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center (JLAC) obtained a decision from the Israeli Supreme Court to suspend and rescind the decision to demolish the Furush Beit Dajan School in the heart of the Valley area. The Centre’s lawyer, Sulaiman Shaheen, stated that he had obtained a written agreement to withdraw a petition in exchange for rescinding the demolition, and that the occupation must notify the residents and give them the opportunity to seek justice if the occupying authorities change their decision.
