On this day in 1967, the General Assembly adopted its resolution (2254), in which it deeply regrets Israel’s failure to implement General Assembly resolution (2253), and reiterates its request to Israel to eliminate all measures taken; and to refrain immediately from any action that would alter the status of the city of Jerusalem.
