On this day in 1967, the UN Security Council issued Resolution No. (236) condemning all violations to the ceasefire, and calling for full cooperation with the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization’s chief observer in Palestine, which included granting the observers freedom of movement and adequate transportation facilities.
