During his speech at the third session of the Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum, Ambassador Khaled Al-Habbas, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LSA) affirmed that despite all the challenges and crises that the world is witnessing in general and the countries of the region in particular, the Palestinian issue remains the first central issue for Arab countries. Also, the Arab position oriented on the necessity of achieving comprehensive and just peace, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital. Al-Habas rejected any unilateral measures that contradict the international legitimacy decisions and violate the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. “We look forward to the steadfastness of the Republic of India on its traditional supportive role for Palestinian rights, including support for the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.” To check the news, click here
