An official at the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said that the authority approved the proposal of the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the Emirates, which includes the desire to use the Kingdom’s airspace for aviation to and from the UAE for flights to and from all countries. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the announcement as a “huge breakthrough” that would help the Israeli economy and reduce air travel costs. He said, “I have been working for years to open the skies between Israel and the East because there is another massive penetration. Israeli aircraft and those coming from all countries will be able to fly directly from Israel to Abu Dhabi and Dubai and back.” To check the news, click here.
