In the final statement of Holy Land Coordination, Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem affirmed their commitment at the end of an online meeting, that “the lack of political progress, along with the relentless expansion of illegal settlements and the impact of Israel’s Nation-State law, continues to erode any prospect of a peaceful two-state solution.” The bishops called on the governments of their countries to renew their active participation in the search for a just peace, support dialogue between all parties, and adhere to international law, stressing that “the international community must hold Israel accountable for its moral, legal and humanitarian responsibility to make Covid-19 vaccines accessible for Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza and to encourage cooperation with the Palestinian Authority.” To check the news, click here
