Law for Palestine announced its plan to hold its first annual conference (online) entitled “Palestine and International Law: Effectiveness and prospects” on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, in partnership with the Independent Commission for Human Rights and Birzeit University / Faculty of Law and Public Administration. This conference aims to explore the Palestinian scene at the international legal level. The challenges and opportunities for greater effectiveness of international law in relation to the question of Palestine will also be discussed. In addition to networking between jurists and researchers interested in Palestine and studying ways of cooperation and moving forward. The conference will host a number of Palestinian and international legal and human rights experts, including the three special rapporteurs on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories: Richard Falk, John Dugard, and Michael Lynk.
