Background: Law for Palestine.
Law for Palestine (L4P) is a voluntary, nonprofit organization registered in the United Kingdom. It aims to build and create a network of legal professionals interested in Palestine from around the world, and to provide enriched and objective Palestinian legal content.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Organizing files, writing, sending, and sorting emails, preparing invoices and other official papers. creating correspondence, and preparing documents and reports,
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars,
- Scheduling and coordinating staff and board meetings
- Managing and maintaining databases of the organization, its activities and partners;
- Providing support for colleagues in the areas of responsibility
- Supporting the data management process be entering, managing and organizing data within the organization, in addition to updating it regularly.
Required Experience:
A successful candidate shall have the following experience:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, media studies, or related fields.
- Fluent in Arabic and English both written and oral
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, word, powerpoint etc.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Successful Candidates:
- Must be willing to work remotely with Law For Palestine organization on a 1-year volunteer contract (with the possibility of extension);
- Will work partly for 15-20 hours per week.
