The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Minister Riyad Mansour has delivered a statement in an open session held by the Security Council and headed by Germany to discuss the situation in the Middle East, including the question of Palestine.
Mansour has pointed out that next week is the 40th anniversary of the illegal annexation of East Jerusalem, explaining the ongoing violations of the Palestinian residents in East Jerusalem from that date to the present day, including discriminatory planning that isolates Palestinians from 13% of East Jerusalem. Mansour has also stressed that stopping the annexation is a decisive battle in which Palestine must win, warning that Israel may abandon the declaration of legal annexation, but will not abandon the annexation plans, which it will implement progressively through its continuous military orders.
