UNSC issues resolution no. 252 on Palestine on this day
On this day in 1968, the UN Security Council issued Resolution No. 252, in which it considered invalid all administrative and legislative measures and all acts carried out by Israel, including the confiscation of lands and property that would lead to a change in the legal status of Jerusalem. The Council demanded that Israel rescind these measures and abstain from executing any other action that would change the status of the city of Jerusalem.
