The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates  (MOFAE) said that the Israeli occupation authorities are racing against time to implement their settlement plans in the occupied West Bank, in three vital areas, south of Bethlehem and Masafer Yatta, south of Nablus, and the Jordan Valley. It does so by seizing more Palestinian land, and gradually annexing these lands for the benefit of settlements and settlers. The Ministry condemned the continued colonial settlement expansion on the territory of the State of Palestine, describing the act as weakening any opportunity for establishing a viable and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. According to the Ministry, the settlement is an ongoing occupation project to end international efforts aimed at achieving peace based on the two-state solution. For further details, click here
