The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has warned against the dangers posed by of the deal concluded by the Israeli occupation government and settlers in “Avitar” outpost, which is built on West Bank’s Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and the agreements that will follow. The Ministry considered the deal an official Israeli attempt at legitimizing the outpost as a first step to turn it into a settlement that would devour the entire mountain and the surrounding lands. The statement expressed the State of Palestine’s rejection of the deal, and its intention to resist it by all legal means. The statement further called on the international community and member states of the Security Council to denounce the deal and make every effort to prevent its materialization, and to pressure the new occupation government to stop its crimes against Jerusalem and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories, and to oppose demolition decisions and pressure Israel to put an end to this punitive policy.
