The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that it will continue its political and diplomatic work to expose the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and their land, call for solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for their right to self-determination, and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Land Day, the Ministry also stressed the need to strengthen the international legal character of the State of Palestine to and secure further international recognition of the Palestinian state. The Ministry also promised to take measures to strengthen partnerships with countries around the world in various areas and follow up on the decision of the International Criminal Prosecutor to open an official investigation into Israeli crimes, to hold Israeli war criminals accountable.
