Al Mezan Center for Human Rights issued a press release on World Health Day demanding an end to the state of health inequality between Israelis and Palestinians, especially those in the Gaza Strip. Israel’s discriminatory and exclusionary policies have caused, inter alia, a chronic shortage of essential medical supplies, according Al Mezan. The Center reiterated its call to the international community to take immediate action to ensure that Israel fulfils its legal responsibilities by working on achieving equality for the disaffected population, and achieving a decent level of mental and physical health for Palestinians living under its control.
