This weekly report reviews the legal dynamics of the Palestine question, and everything related to international law and Palestine. The report includes an account of the most important publications, activities and conferences related to Palestine at the local, regional, international levels. The report further covers decisions, decrees, and judicial orders affecting the Palestinian cause, whether made at the official, academic or public levels. The report aims to be a reference for monitoring, documenting and archiving the latest human rights developments related to Palestine, and to present them to individuals, researchers, study centers, and official, academic and legal institutions concerned.

Judicial decrees, decisions, positions, and orders issued by official Palestinian bodies

• The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the assassination of Palestinian Nabil Ghanem and considers it a normal consequence of double international standards (June 19, 2022). For further details, click here

• The Israeli Parole Committee has confirmed the previous classification of Ahmed Manasra’s case as a “terrorist act” under Israeli anti-terrorism law (22 June 2022). For further details, click here

• The North Carolina Democratic Party in a conference endorses multiple resolutions accusing Israel of practising apartheid against the Palestinian people (June 20, 2022). For further details, click here
• The European Union and Egypt confirm that the two-state solution, which ends the occupation and leads to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on June 4, 1967 borders, is the only route to a lasting, just, and comprehinsive solution to the Palestinian-Israeli question (June 20, 2022) For further details, click here

• The US Court of Appeals of the Eighth Circuit, upholds Arkansas’ law requiring state contractors to pledge not to boycott Israel, finding the restriction is not in violation of free speech as it only prohibits economic decisions that discriminate against Israel (June 22, 2022).
