The report includes an account of the most important publications, activities and conferences related to Palestine at the local, regional, international levels. The report further covers decisions, decrees, and judicial orders affecting the Palestinian cause, whether made at the official, academic or public levels. The report aims to be a reference for monitoring, documenting and archiving the latest human rights developments related to Palestine, and to present them to individuals, researchers, study centers, and official, academic and legal institutions concerned.

- The 2022 Plenipotentiary Conference, held in the Romanian capital Bucharest, adopts Resolution No. “125” for the State of Palestine, which calls for providing support and assistance in developing infrastructure and building human capacities in Palestinian communications and information technology. - Australia rescinds its recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and affirms its previous position that Jerusalem is an essential issue of the final negotiated solution in accordance with international legitimacy. It also affirms that it will not support any approach that would prevent the realization of a two-state solution in which Israel and the future Palestinian state coexist in peace and security within internationally recognized borders. - The UN Special Rapporteur in Palestine, Francesca Albanese, issues a report that describes the Israeli occupation of Palestine as a settler colonial regime. (October 18, 2022). For further details, click here / here

- In a new report, the UN Commission of Inquiry finds that the Israeli occupation is unlawful under international law and calls for an urgent request by the UNGA to be referred to the International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion on Israel’s continued refusal to end its occupation. - UN experts have called on Israel to immediately release Salah Hammouri, a Palestinian lawyer. They are concerned by Israel’s pervasive misuse of administrative and criminal law proceedings and use of secret information against Palestinians. (October 19, 2022). For further details, click here

Publications of human rights NGOs
- 65 Palestinian and international organizations call on the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to implement concrete measures to ensure justice and accountability for the Palestinian people, including recognition of Israeli settler colonialism as the root cause of the denial of Palestinian rights. - The Palestinian Center for Human Rights and Al Mezan Center for Human Rights hold the Israeli occupation authorities responsible for the death of the patient Akram Al-Sultan and demand the international community intervene to save the lives of patients in the Gaza Strip. - PNGO condemns the policy of collective punishment imposed by the Israeli occupation on the city of Nablus and considers it a war crime. (October 18, 2022). For further details, click here
- The International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) have written to Prime Minister Liz Truss warning her that her stated intention to move the UK embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would be unlawful and any attempt to do so could put the UK under prosecution for violating the international law. - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, “Adalah”, comments on the report of the United Nations Independent Commission of Inquiry, stating that, “Decades of extreme violations of Palestinian human rights, and total impunity for war crimes committed by Israel necessitate an immediate international response”.
